Full face drill head 800mm bauer type used for 100mpa-200mpa rock formation

full face roller bit drill heads are used in very hard rock formations with strengths>100mpa

They make drilling through rock in a single drilling cycle possible without time consuming and costly tool changes , the rock cuttings are usually conveyed by the air lift technique into a collector box mounted on top of drill head after having drilled to a certain depth, the full face drill head is retracted and the collector box is emptied
